The Southern Cross rises over the Namib Desert in Namibia
One of my most iconic images–an eight hour exposure on Fujichrome Velvia film. I had to leave the camera overnight and I did not know if I had captured the image successfully until I had the film processed a month later in Seattle.
Provenance for collectors: this image was created on film and featured in Art’s book Edge of the Earth, Corner of the Sky.
Art has carefully chosen a select group of images for his Open Edition Fine Art Collection. They are printed on EPSON Premium Photo Luster or Metallic Luster paper using archival EPSON Ultrachrome inks. Art signs the print with a silver acid-free pen.
