Marbled Godwits, Willets, and Short-Billed Dowitchers at Laguna San Ignacio, Baja California, Mexico.
This large flock of shorebirds was concentrated on the only beach left exposed by the high tide. I was able to situate myself on a hill above them, which enabled me to get all the birds in focus without having to use the smallest aperture settings. This was important because small aperture settings require longer exposures, which I wanted to avoid given the moving birds.
Art has carefully chosen a select group of images for his Open Edition Fine Art Collection. They are printed on EPSON Premium Photo Luster paper using archival EPSON Ultrachrome inks. Art signs the print with a silver acid-free pen.
