Trumpeter Cygnet

Trumpeter Swan Cygnet, Kenai Peninsula, Alaska. The trumpeter swan is the largest swan in the world. Newly hatched cygnets feed mainly on aquatic insects and crustaceans. These swans grow rapidly. By 8 to 10 weeks of age, young trumpeters have reached maturity.
